GARDN is currently working on a white paper on the state of the Sustainable Aviation Fuels (SAF) sector in Canada, pointing out missing innovations and initiatives to facilitate the production and commercialization of low carbon aviation fuels in Canada. This report will also compile a list of recommendations for future regulation, financing needs and policy making focused on each link of the value chain of SAF. This initiative is supported by Environment and Climate Change Canada (ECCC) and the final report will be submitted for their review.
Our goal is to help the SAF community and the public sector to better coordinate the innovation and business efforts to decarbonize air travel. GARDN has designed a survey to collect the points of view of various stakeholders of the SAF supply chain. The main objective with this survey is to gain a better understanding of the challenges and opportunities for the development of Canadian SAF supply chains.
